The American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (AMCHAM Myanmar) was established on October 31, 2013. To date, more than 170 companies employing over 20,000 Myanmar nationals have joined the Chamber. These companies represent a diverse collection of industries and nationalities, with a common goal to expand American business and promote the highest business standards in Myanmar.

Mya Theingi is an experienced professional with a strong foundation in biomedical sciences, having graduated from Singapore. With over nine years of multifaceted experience, Mya has excelled in project management, sales, marketing, operations, partnerships management, SOP implementation, data analytics, and financial planning.

Having navigated roles in both the pharmaceutical and telecommunications sectors, she has demonstrated a keen ability to streamline workflows across cross-functional units. Previous positions include Marketing & Events Manager and Operations Manager at the chamber, where she played pivotal roles in organizational success.

Currently serving as Deputy Director, Mya contributes to high-level decision-making, operational excellence, and strategic growth. Known for her ability to navigate complex challenges and foster meaningful collaborations, she continues to make a significant impact in the professional landscape.

Lin Thandar Aung

CEO of Pepsi and Secretary of AMCHAM Myanmar


Lin is an Entrepreneur and Business Executive dedicated to empowering individuals for professional success. Over the past three years, Lin have held key roles in Pepsi Myanmar (Lotte MGS Beverage Co., Ltd), culminating appointment as the Director of Commercial & Operations in early 2023 and promoted as a CEO in November 2023. Her expertise encompasses YoY revenue growth, strategic development, change management, restructuring, nationwide business expansion, guiding organizations through transformative journeys, and P&L oversight.

Lin, having experienced diverse cultures and an unconventional background through studying and working in Myanmar, UK, Ireland, and Malaysia, developed a unique perspective. After high school, Lin got into programming, securing a role in a successful local software company. While writing programs for banking and retail clients, her interest in accounting grew. Combining technical expertise with a precise and organized nature, Lin transitioned to become an accountant and problem solver. Progressing from CAT to ACCA, Lin's strong work ethic facilitated the accumulation of relevant work experience.

In 2005, Lin began her international career as an Account Manager at QucomHaps in Dublin, Ireland, focusing on robust accounting processes and consolidating Financial Statements across multiple countries. Transitioning to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I served as Operations Manager at QucomHaps from 2008 to 2011, overseeing diverse projects with a $2 million budget. Taking charge of internal control in on ground operations, Lin started to take more serious interest in Operational management and took a role as an Operations Manager at a later stage.

Moving to Singapore in 2011, as an Account Manager at Squared Financial, she established a Forex trading company, securing regulatory approval and managing Annual Return filings. Returning to Kuala Lumpur in 2012, she became an Account Manager at CXC Global, overseeing talent management and reorganizing 37 projects in the Asia-Pacific region.

After going through a professional journey that reflects diverse roles, international exposure, and a commitment to excellence in financial management and strategic operations, Lin moved back home in late 2013. She led comprehensive project management for Myanmar power station development, overseeing all facets, including managing a $5 million budget. Proficient in financial management and strategic resource allocation. Navigated complex stakeholder interactions with government departments, ensuring smooth project progression and compliance. Crucially, performed financial planning and modeling, ensuring project viability and attracting funding. Beyond traditional project management, played a vital role in driving success, contributing to Myanmar's energy landscape.

Dr. Nway Nu Wai

Deputy CEO of Ar Yu International Hospital


Dr. Nway Nu Wai is a distinguished healthcare professional and hospital executive, currently serving as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) of Ar Yu International Hospital in Yangon, Myanmar. With a strong medical background and expertise in healthcare management, she has played a pivotal role in leading the hospital through numerous challenges, achieving remarkable milestones along the way.

Dr. Nway Nu Wai earned her M.B.,B.S. degree in 2014, completing her medical studies with dedication and resilience. Recognizing the importance of healthcare administration in enhancing patient care and hospital operations, she pursued a Master's degree in Healthcare Management at City University, London, UK, which she successfully obtained in 2016.

Her journey in healthcare leadership began in 2017, marking the start of her impactful career in hospital management. As a medical student, she developed strong stress management skills, balancing demanding study schedules, rigorous examinations, and personal well-being. Her experience studying abroad further strengthened her adaptability, as she navigated a new language, culture, and academic environment.

Since joining Ar Yu International Hospital, Dr. Nway Nu Wai has been instrumental in steering the hospital through significant challenges. The hospital was established in 2019, just before the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020, followed by the political turmoil of the 2021 military coup and other operational challenges. Despite these adversities, under her leadership, Ar Yu International Hospital achieved Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, the most prestigious global recognition in hospital and healthcare quality in December 2024. This achievement underscores her commitment to excellence in patient care, safety, and hospital management.

Dr. Nway Nu Wai is known for her resilience, leadership, and strategic vision in navigating complex healthcare environments. She believes in the power of mental strength and discipline, encapsulated in her life motto:

Dr. Khine Pwint Nwe is a visionary healthcare leader and the Founder & CEO of Z-waka, a digital health platform dedicated to improving healthcare access and education in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Born in Myanmar and educated as a medical doctor, she pursued a Master's in Health Informatics from the University of Leeds, UK, as a Chevening Scholar. Recognized in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia in 2022, she has led impactful projects across Myanmar, Vietnam, and Cambodia, with a focus on empowering healthcare professionals through innovative digital solutions. Mon Mon Hlaing is the Director of Frontline Marketing at Coca-Cola Myanmar, bringing over 20 years of extensive marketing experience and currently managing the leading sparkling beverage brands in Myanmar. She has a proven track record of driving successful marketing strategies and is a passionate advocate for women's empowerment in business.

Since joining Coca-Cola Myanmar in 2015, Mon Mon has been instrumental in introducing global initiatives of Coca-Cola campaigns and seamlessly integrating these trends into the local market. With a profound understanding of consumer engagement, she continually drives innovative marketing strategies that resonate deeply with Myanmar's consumers, forging a stronger connection between consumers and the Coca-Cola brand.

Prior to her tenure at Coca-Cola Myanmar, Mon Mon gained diverse experience in marketing across the country's leading commercial bank and FMCG companies, including Kanbawza Bank, DKSH (Myanmar) Ltd, British American Tobacco, and Unilever.

Saint Yi Htet

Food Safety and Food Processing Specialist of Global Food Safety Institute


Saint Yi Htet is a corporate executive turned entrepreneur, committed to building safer food systems together.

As a seasoned food safety specialist and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience, Saint helps Food Business Operators (FBOs) develop innovative and safe food products. She leads the Global Food Safety Institute in providing consultation services to help FBOs achieve globally recognized food safety certifications, enabling them to supply their products worldwide.

She is also passionate about conducting value-added food processing and entrepreneurship training for communities. She is currently working on a project titled "How to Start a Food Business with Limited Resources," aimed at empowering farmers, youth, and women in Shan South, supported by AMCHAM.

Shwe Sin Hein

Country Business Development Director of Mastercard and Vice President of AMCHAM Myanmar


Shwe Sin is a seasoned business executive with over a decade of expertise in business development, strategic planning, and financial services. She currently serves as the Director, Country Business Development, for Mastercard in Myanmar, leading sales, marketing, and operations while managing regulatory frameworks and fostering strategic partnerships.

Prior to Mastercard, Shwe held key leadership roles at Myanmar's leading consumer banks, where she spearheaded financial inclusion initiatives, drove digital banking growth, and optimized nationwide cash operations. She also played a pivotal role in transformation strategies and corporate client relationship management. Her early management experience includes working at Abercrombie & Fitch in the USA.

Shwe holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering Management from Elizabethtown College, USA. Fluent in Burmese and English, with conversational proficiency in Thai, she is passionate about developing future leaders and driving digitization of payment in the industry. 

Victoria Win

Country Manager of AWS Myanmar and Governor of AMCHAM Myanmar


With over seven years of extensive experience in the technology industry, Victoria is committed to leveraging her skills and insights to foster growth and innovation within Asia's emerging business communities. Born and raised in Myanmar, she pursued higher education in the United Kingdom and is currently based in Singapore. Victoria oversees business operations in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar, where she has developed a robust portfolio of customer relationships and a strong network of business partners.

Her expertise encompasses both Cloud Native and On-Premises Technologies, enabling her to navigate the complexities of the tech landscape effectively. Victoria is passionate about mentoring and building the next generation of talent pipelines in Myanmar, believing that investing in youth can drive sustainable growth and development in the economy.  

As a candidate for the American Chamber of Commerce Board, Victoria aims to contribute to the development of technology initiatives across the country. She is dedicated to addressing the talent shortage issue by connecting enterprise employers with the local talent pool, fostering an ecosystem that supports both businesses and communities.

Victoria's professional journey includes roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an Account Manager for Asia Emerging Markets since November 2021, and prior to that, she was a Territory Manager for VMware from March 2019 to October 2021. Her experience also includes a stint as a Business Development Consultant at Oracle from August 2017 to February 2019, as well as serving as a Part-Time Interpreter for the World Bank Group from March 2015 to January 2017.

She holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from The University of Huddersfield, graduating with First Class Honors in 2016. Victoria looks forward to the opportunity to serve on the Chamber Board, where she can contribute expertise to strengthen local businesses and promote a thriving economic environment, creating a brighter future for the community.
