The American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (AMCHAM Myanmar) was established on October 31, 2013. To date, more than 170 companies employing over 20,000 Myanmar nationals have joined the Chamber. These companies represent a diverse collection of industries and nationalities, with a common goal to expand American business and promote the highest business standards in Myanmar.

Join AMCHAM Myanmar in collaboration with C.I.M Property Consultants sponsored by Singapore Airlines, for an evening of CIM's 9th Annual Property Conference which will be focusing on the 2025 real estate outlook and featuring top predictions for the year. This year's event will bring together sought-after local and international experts for the panel. Setup a new Representative Office for a leading Middle East bank and subsequently upgrading it to a Wholesale Bank branch in Singapore. Corporate treasury and funding experience with a large Asian corporation in the natural resources sector.

Karlo Pobre is the Deputy Managing Director of consultancy services at Colliers Thailand

and Managing Director of CIM Property Consultants in Myanmar. Since 2010, he has specialized in development consultancy, property valuation, and financial due diligence. After relocating to Thailand in 2013, he helped establish Colliers' Myanmar office and led regional projects with Hong Kong and Singapore teams.

He focuses on large-scale, mixed-use township and transit-oriented developments, partnering with major developers and institutions like Mitsubishi Estate, Sumitomo Realty, Keppel Land, World Bank, and IFC.

Sheilah F.P. Elbinias

Sheilah is the Country Head of Legal for Coca-Cola Pinya Beverages Myanmar Ltd. (CCPBM), specializing in compliance, contracts, and labor law. She leads the Ethics & Compliance Committee, overseeing cases and disciplinary actions.

She ensures regulatory compliance, conducts due diligence, and provides legal support, prioritizing mediation and risk management to protect the company's interests.

Steven Yit

General Manager Myanmar at Singapore Airlines


Steven is the General Manager Myanmar of Singapore Airlines since Oct 2022. He began his SQ career in Singapore where he was in the Network Planning and Internal Audit departments. He then was posted to Bangalore, Perth, and Sydney before coming to Yangon.

He has a BSFS in International Political Economy from Georgetown University and a MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford.

Steven has lived in 6 continents and is an avid boardgamer.
