The American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar

The American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (AMCHAM Myanmar) was established on October 31, 2013. To date, more than 170 companies employing over 20,000 Myanmar nationals have joined the Chamber. These companies represent a diverse collection of industries and nationalities, with a common goal to expand American business and promote the highest business standards in Myanmar.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar is delighted to share with the membership the first installment in our Quarterly Briefings series on March 23 from 9:00 am.


This briefing will be led by Political-Economic Counselor Dawn M. Schrepel on the current political and economic landscape only for members of AMCHAM Myanmar. Members in Yangon will be able to join the Counselor and Embassy team in-person for networking and refreshments after the formal program.


This event is being held in a HYBRID format. Prior booking is required and no walk ins are accepted.

This session will be conducted under Chatham House Rule and is off-the-record.

  • Venue: Hybrid -- Virtually via Zoom (an access link will be sent to you in advance) or in-person at the Melia Yangon. Please choose how you plan to attend during registration.
  • Tickets: FREE for AMCHAM Myanmar Members. Webinar and in-person tickets are both FREE to members. This is a members' only event.
  • Booking deadline: March 22, 12 pm (Myanmar Time)
  • Capacity is limited and tickets are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • Tickets are non-transferable.
  • Any cancellations must be made at least 3 working days in advance.
