The AMCHAM Social Impact Donation Fund
As AMCHAM Members continually seek ways to create social value for the people of Myanmar, the AMCHAM Social Impact Donation (SID) Fund seeks to improve the lives of vulnerable people living in non-urban and ethnic areas across Myanmar.
With a funding goal and limit of USD 100,000, AMCHAM Myanmar will donate 100% of member contributions to fund 5 to 10 social impact projects within 9 months. AMCHAM will target non-urban projects across key social impact initiatives that were identified by AMCHAM members in a 2023 survey:
Education, Health & Safety, Livelihood Sustainability, Micro-enterprise development, Women and Youth Empowerment, Agriculture
AMCHAM Members can commit as little as USD 2,000 and as much as USD 30,000 by the funding deadline - 31 July 2024. AMCHAM Myanmar will also form a Social Impact Committee (SIC) to ensure the transparency and accountability of all donations in the SID fund.
All donating AMCHAM members will be honored in November 2024 at the AMCHAM Social Impact Excellence Awards.

- Tickets: FREE for AMCHAM members
- Booking deadline: June 18, 4 pm (Myanmar Time)
- Capacity is limited and tickets are on a first-come-first-serve basis: one representative per company.
- Prior booking is required and no walk-ins are accepted.
- Tickets are non-transferable.
- Any cancellations must be made at least 7 working days in advance.
