The American Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (AMCHAM Myanmar) was established on October 31, 2013. To date, more than 170 companies employing over 20,000 Myanmar nationals have joined the Chamber. These companies represent a diverse collection of industries and nationalities, with a common goal to expand American business and promote the highest business standards in Myanmar.

Adam Castillo

Managing Director of Atalian Global Services Myanmar


Adam founded a security company in Myanmar in 2013. He then partnered with ATALIAN Global Services โ€“ a global multi-national - in 2016. He is a former US Marine Corps Officer with combat operational experience in Afghanistan and operational experience in Korea. He has a masters in international relations with a focus on international terrorism. Based in Myanmar since 2013, he currently serves on the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) Steering Committee since its inception in 2018. He is currently serving on the Board of Governors at AMCHAM Myanmar as Vice President.

Jack Mullan

CEO of Barber Mullan and Associates Pte. Ltd.


Jack co-founded BM&A in 2012. Prior to this, he established an emerging market consultancy with a focus on Vietnam and Myanmar which merged into BM&A. In his role as CEO, Jack oversees BM&A's projects across Southeast Asia, including due diligence, political risk summaries, intellectual property assignments, threat assessments and evacuation procedures. Jack currently sits on US Embassy Rangoon- Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) steering committee and has completed over 300 projects in Myanmar, supporting clients in FMCG, telecommunications and extractives amongst others. Jack's role as a crisis responder has seen him support and lead international clients through crises in Myanmar over the past five years.


Jack holds a BA in International Relations and an MSc in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management. He speaks Spanish, French, Malay and Indonesian. Jack is married with one son.
